Man Utd board ready to play to Jose Mourinho tune, to spend big in January

Coach Jose Mourinho during the summer transfer window made moves to sign new players especially defenders but the Red Devils board refused to accede to his request stating that the club is stockpiled with defenders.

However, the effect of not granting the Portugal international request has played out this season with the Red Devils seated at the 8th position on the EPL table.

Which is quite a distance from the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, and Man City, who are currently seated at the top of the EPL table.

A new report from Old Trafford have made it known that the Red Devils board are ready to play to Jose Mourinho tune.

The Utd board are ready to go on a spending spree in the January transfer window in other to pacify Jose Mourinho.

According to reports, the players include

1. Nathan Ake – he is a Bournemouth defender, and would cost them around £40million.

2. Milan Skriniar  – he plays as the Inter centre-back, and his also valued at £40m.

3. Alessio Romagnoli – the Italian defender plays for AC Milan and will cost them £40 million.

4. Frenkie de Jong – plays at Ajax and can help shield the defence or even operate in a number of positions in a back four, would cost the sum of £50 million.

Man Utd turn focus away from ‘expensive’ Kalidou Koulibaly, wants this Tottenham defender instead

English football club, Man Utd have disclosed they will be spending big in the Winter transfer window in January having failed to do so in the last summer transfer window.

Coach Jose Mourinho had hoped to sign a new defender in the summer transfer window but the Man Utd board had rejected the bid stressing that the club is ‘stockpiled with numerous defenders.’

Well, their failure to follow Jose Mourinho advise had seen to the poor performance exhibited by Man Utd so far this season.

Well, one of the ways Man Utd hope to correct their error is to sign a new defender.

The Red Devils have been linked with moves to sign Kalidou Koulibaly in the past few weeks.

However, a new report has made it known that Man Utd are no longer interested in the defender owing to his expensive transfer fixed at £90 million, which is too costly.

For this reason, Man Utd have turned their focus on Tottenham Hotspur, Toby Alderweireld, who will cost £40 million, which is a lesser pay.

Man Utd were linked with moves to sign the Tottenham defender last summer but the deal didn’t work out.

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has spoken about a possible return to Italy some weeks before the winter transfer window starts.

Damian talked about his desire to return to Italy in a chat with popular Italian media outlet calciomercato.

The Italian international star confirmed his desire to return to Italy while he was being asked whether or not he missed his native country.

Darmian, 29, also revealed that he bears no grudge against AC Milan when the player was asked about his thoughts ahead of their game against Torino on Sunday.

He had a largely unsuccessful spell at AC Milan earlier in his career.

AC Milan and Torino are two of his former clubs.

He signed for Manchester United from Torino in a deal worth £12.7m in the summer of 2015.

Darmian signed a four-year contract then til the summer of 2019.

He has just six months left on his current Manchester United deal and that has prompted transfer talks linking him with a move out of the club.

Inter Milan have been touted as a potential transfer destination for him at the end of his Manchester United contract.

He can start to speak with foreign clubs about a potential free transfer move as from the 1st of January.

During the week, a series of reports went viral that Man Utd are planning to bring in a new coach to replace ‘the special one’ turn ‘the struggling one’ coach Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

According to the reports, Man Utd were making underground moves and creating links on how to make coach, Mauricio Pochettino leave Tottenham Hotspur for Man Utd.

The reports had added that the Red Devils were willing to offer the sum of £40 million to Mauricio Pochettino.

Well, the Hotspur coach in a recent statement has made it known that he is happy at the club and he has no plan of leaving the club anytime soon.

Mauricio Potchettino has once again proved his loyalty to Tottenham Hotspur for the second time by refusing to leave.

The first offer for the top coach came from Spanish giant, Real Madrid but he turned down the offer.

Man Utd will have to look elsewhere or stick with their Portuguese coach, who is only good at causing controversies.

The Red Devils are currently seated at the eight spot on the EPL table following their 2-2 draw against Arsenal.

Coach Jose Mourinho jokes about lack of water at Old Trafford

Man Utd played host to Fulham tonight in the EPL at Old Trafford.

The game ended with four goals to one in favor of the Red Devils.

Ashley Young, Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford scored all four goals for Man Utd.

Aside from Man Utd picking all three points from the match, coach Jose Mourinho was so elated to the extent that for the first time in a long while the Portugal international joked about something.

Mourinho in his post-match statement revealed that the Red Devils lacked water because they were saving up for the January transfer window.

He said, “Are we saving money? No water! Are we saving money for January?!”

The new statement from the Portugal international may be an hint that Man Utd are planning to spend big in the winter transfer window after failing to do so in the last summer transfer window, which has affected them so far this season.

Man Utd are currently seated at the sixth point on the EPL table and perhaps they can finally break in back to the top four in the EPL table where they belong.

A new report which has also been confirmed by top media outfit, The Independent has made it known that Chile international and Man Utd striker, Alexis Sanchez has been allowed to return to his home country.

The report added that the Red Devils gave the Chile star the permission to leave Old Trafford owing to his fresh injury.

Man Utd star defender, Rio Ferdinand in a recent statement has compared Man Utd 2008 team with Man City current team.

According to the Red Devils legendary defender, the Man Utd 2008 team is the best squad to ever play in the history of the EPL.

He, however, added that the Pep Guardiola’s Man City squad are entertaining but can’t be compared to Man Utd squad 10 years ago.

The Man Utd squad of 2008 was under the coaching of the Legendary coach, Sir Alex Ferguson.

And the team consisted of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand Nemanja Vidic, Paul Scholes among others.

The Red Devils 2008 squad defeated Chelsea to win the Uefa Champions League at Moscow and also won the EPL title in that same season.

Another record is that the Man Utd 2008 squad also went ahead to win the EPL title for the second time in a row.

Well, the current Man City squad are yet to reach that target but at the moment they are the best team in the EPL and they can lift the EPL for a second time in a row with no contender except for Liverpool.
