‘Only loan transfers in January’ – Unai Emery confirms

While various reports had made it known that Arsenal will sign some players based on their limited budget, well it has turned out that they will not be signing any player permanently that is if they will sign at all in the ongoing January transfer window.

Arsenal in a new statement via their coach, Unai Emery has revealed their plans for the winter transfer window.

According to Unai Emery, Arsenal will not be signing any player permanently as he stressed that it will only be loan transfers in January.

He added that any player they will sign at this moment will be for a short term basis.

This latest development is a set back for Arsenal as this means they might no longer be able to sign Denis Suarez from Barcelona.

Unai Emery had hoped to reunite with the youngster, who he trained at Sevilla.

This is because it is uncertain if Barca will accede to Suarez leaving on a loan basis.

Another player Arsenal might miss out on is Ever Banega, who Unai Emery also trained at Sevilla.

The manager insisted he doesn’t know what Arsenal are planning at the moment but they are working it out.

Following his 22 years reign at Arsenal FC, coach Arsene Wenger term came to an end with the North London club last summer.

Although Arsenal FC went ahead to sign former Paris Saint Germain PSG and Seville coach, Unai Emery as their new coach, however, a new report has made it known that Arsene Wenger had someone else in mind and it was not Emery.

This latest statement was made public by Ciro Venerato.

”Arsenal-Napoli?” said Venerato when talking about the upcoming Europa League tie.

“I’ll tell you a behind-the scenes story dating back to last summer when Arsene Wenger indicated Carlo Ancelotti as his possible heir and successor on the Arsenal bench.

“Carlo Ancelotti, as you know, has a Canadian wife and the whole family lives in London. So he was interested.

“Arsenal then chose Unai Emery and at that point Carlo Ancelotti signed for Napoli, but he did not forget that Arsenal rejected him.”

Giggs Delighted With Juventus Transfer For Arsenal Midfielder

Former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs is delighted with the inevitable transfer of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey to Juventus in the summer.

Manchester United legend Giggs is the Welsh national team manager.

Ramsey is one of the senior players in the Welsh national team.

In his latest interview monitored by popular media portal Goal, Giggs believes that the move can elevate Ramsey to the level reached by national team colleague Gareth Bale following his move to European champions Real Madrid in 2013.

Bale became the most expensive player in world football in the summer of 2013 when Real Madrid paid £85m to secure his transfer from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

Ryan Giggs is hopeful that the Juventus transfer for Ramsey can boost him to the status of the world’s best in his position

Aaron Ramsey has signed a four-year contract with Juventus but he’s not expected to join the Old Lady until this summer.

The 28-year-old will reportedly earn £400,000 per week before tax thus making him the most expensive footballer in Britain.

He has few months left on his contract at Arsenal but the Gunners were reluctant to offer him a new deal.

Ramsey is the longest serving player at Arsenal after he joined the club from Welsh side Cardiff City in 2008.

Arsenal were able to sign him for £5m ahead of rivals Manchester United.

Sports pundit predict Chelsea and Arsenal will play in the UEL again next season

As the end of the season for the Premier League draw closer, four big clubs are vying for two spots in the top four on the EPL table with Man City and Liverpool already dominating the first and second spot.

The four clubs vying to make it to the third and fourth spot on the EPL table are Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Man Utd, and Chelsea.

At the moment, Tottenham and Arsenal are seated at the third and fourth spot respectively, however, sports pundit, Phil Thompson believes Arsenal and Chelsea will play in the Uefa Europa League again next season.

Explaining his thoughts to Sky Sports,Thompson said: “Chelsea are still a bit fragile, on and off the pitch. It doesn’t seem to be quite right and results are fluctuating, quite similar with Arsenal really.

“Although they seem to have good results, you cannot rely on them and then they have a couple of bad results. It is how they can capitulate in games.

“Manchester United should be fourth because it is the Solskjaer effect and the feel-good effect of what he has done. It will probably be enough to see them in there at the end of the season, they are in an easier place than the other two.

“It will be very tight between them all but that is how I see it panning out.

“Although Tottenham have had a dodgy spell, football-wise they have a bit more togetherness than Arsenal and Chelsea so you can see them having enough to win their games, as well as getting the players fit such as Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

“Kane is a more consistent goalscorer and I would rely upon him more than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal and Gonzalo Higuain at Chelsea.”

The goalie in a statement said: “Whoever comes in our way, we would have to face them and find a way through. That’s just the way it is.”“I have already gone back to France and back to Rennes in this campaign, and Chelsea are always one of the teams who could get in the way. We will see.“But I would love me to finish with a trophy! I am doing everything to make it happen and my team-mates are the same.

“The dream is still alive and obviously we are happy with that. We want to do it for ourselves, we want to do it for the team and as well for the fans.

“In the second leg against Rennes, we were in a difficult position and managed to find our way out. Hopefully we can continue like that.”

Arsenal Register Interest In €40m Attacker

Premier League giants Arsenal have registered their interest in AC Milan winger Suso after the Gunners sent scouts to watch him in action for his club.

Arsenal sent representatives to run the rule over the petite winger while he was in action for AC Milan.

According to popular media outlet Sport Mediaset, Arsenal scouts were in attendance during the game between Chievo and AC Milan.

Suso played 84 minutes as he helped the Rossoneri to a 2-1 win over relegation threatened Chievo.

The Spanish international player is not a stranger to the Premier League having played for Liverpool before moving to Italy.

The €40m-rated winger was linked with a move to Premier League sides like Arsenal and Chelsea before the winter transfer window but he managed to stay in Italy with AC Milan.

He would be a fantastic addition to the Arsenal setup under Unai Emery who’s very familiar with the player.

Arsenal have lacked traditional wingers in the first team for the better part of the last five years and a move for Suso will surely go a long way to solve that problem.

He could be a direct replacement for the injured Danny Welbeck whose Arsenal contract will expire at the end of this season with reports claiming that his contract won’t be renewed.

Why Luiz Suarez didn’t move to Arsenal in 2013

Arsenal FC under the management of former coach, Arsene Wenger made moves to sign Uruguay international, Luiz Suarez in the 2013 summer transfer window but saw their offer rejected by Suarez’s then club, Liverpool.

The Reds who signed him from Ajax instead of selling Luiz Suarez to a direct rival went ahead to sell him to the Spanish club, Barcelona.

However, the Uruguay international in a recent statement has opened up on why he didn’t move to Arsenal FC.

Luiz Suarez in his statement said Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard intervened to prevent him fro leavening for Arsenal in 2013.

“We qualified for the UEFA Europa League but the season ended badly,” Suarez told Otro.

“I’m about to go to Arsenal, forcing myself to go, and Steven tells me ‘I promise that if you stay this year you’re going to take off and next year you’ll go to Bayern, Barcelona, Real Madrid or whichever one you want, but stay this year because you won’t be better off at Arsenal’.”

“This was the last conversation I had with Gerrard at that moment and I told my agent that I had made my decision and I was staying.

“His words convinced me in that moment. They came from a person who cared for me, who wanted my well-being, who saw me suffer during training and saw me sad.

“They were words from a true captain that had an impact in that moment and helped me a lot.”

Arsenal vs Rennes: Sport pundit gives prediction

The Gunners will tonight host Rennes at Emirate Stadium in the return leg of the UEL.

Arsenal will head to the game with full confidence after their recent victory over Man Utd at Emirate Stadium in the EPL.

However, Sport Pundit, Charlie Nicolas has given his prediction on the outcome of the match.

Charlie Nicolas in a statement on Sky Sport said, “I was questioning the goalkeeper with an inconsistent defence in front of him but he has been excellent in recent weeks. Leno is quite bold and tries to play out from the back. He blocks with the boot rather than his hands a lot of the timebut it works very well for him. He will make mistakes but who doesn’t? Arsenal have signed a top-class goalkeeper I feel.

Lucas Torreira will probably play again after being suspended for the United win but with no Alexandre Lacazette, who is suspended, I would play Alex Iwobi with Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey. There was pace, commitment and togetherness in there against United.

Play the same system and I expect Arsenal to go through. The away goal they scored in France will prove to be crucial in my opinion.”

He predicted a win for Arsenal in the extra time with 3 goals to 1.
