Transfer News: Chelsea Star Does Not Rule Out Juventus Move

Football Italia have quotes from Jorginho’s agent on their site today, with the representative giving some pretty eyebrow raising early insights that his client would be amenable to a move to Juventus.

Maurizio Sarri leaving, brought in with Jorginho the previous summer, was a blow to the Italy international’s chances, and there is some sense for us to dispose of him if we can, while we can even now get a decent sum for him.

He found an extraordinary environment and we can’t generally say that he’d like to go somewhere else, but anything can happen on the transfer mark. We’ll sit back and watch… ”

It sounds like they would be keen, and who could blame them. He fits into Sarri’s framework and has no place else he’s been proven to be able. He ought to be clinging on the coat tails of the mentor who got a fortunate move.

But, given our transfer ban, we shouldn’t consider selling him.
