Arsenal Fans Desperate For This Transfer

Arsenal fans have demanded for the return of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas to the club at the end of his current deal at Stamford Bridge.

The 31-year-old has a Chelsea contract that runs until the end of this season and is almost certain that the Blues hierarchy won’t offer the Spaniard a contract extension.

According to the poll from footballfancast, 63% of the Arsenal fans want the Barcelona Academy player to return to the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.

The Spanish international star made his debut for Arsenal in 2003 at the age of 16.

He had earlier joined the Gunners immediately after the 2003 U-17 FIFA World Cup tournament.

Fabregas went on to captain Arsenal before he left the club for Barcelona in 2011.

The 2010 World Cup winner signed for the Catalan giants in a deal reported to be around £30m.

He returned to the Premier League with Chelsea after three seasons in Spain.

The Spanish midfielder signed a five-year contract with Chelsea until the end of the 2018/19 season.

The Blues spent £30m to secure his return to England.

Since his move to Chelsea, Cesc Fabregas has won two FA Cup titles and one FA Cup title for the club.

Christensen confirms continuous allegiance to Chelsea

I am Chelsea for now says Andreas Christensen who has spoken out about talks that took place over a potential move in the January transfer window and the reason why he did not leave Chelsea.

The Dane became a key player in the first team after David Luis was demoted after Chelsea won the Premier League in 2017 under Antonio Conte.

The emergence of Maurizio Sarri as the boss in the summer saw the Brazilian take place his position in the back line alongside Antonio Rudiger as the dominant partnership at centre-back.

Christensen has played in only two league games this season with the 22-year-old limited to roles in cup games.

He returned from a two-year loan spell with Borussia Monchengladbach in 2016 and was a regular starter at the Bundesliga club.

After losing his place in the team under Sarri, rumours grew over a potential exit from Chelsea ahead of the January transfer window.

Barcelona were a huge suitor of the Dane and he has now confirmed that talks took place between him and a two Spanish giants .

In an Interview with Bold.dk after his team’s 2-1 win over Malmo in the Europa League, Christensen addressed concerns over his future.

“It’s difficult,” he said, in comments translated by Reddit users. “At the moment there’s two clear first choices, and then there’s me. I just have to show that I’m ready and take the chance when I get it.

“A lot of talk [over a January move] but it was quickly made clear that the club still saw me as someone who would play.

“Of course thats really nice to hear so I just have to keep proving my self. I think I’ve been good the last few times I’ve got the chance and then I can only hope that I’ll be selected more often.”

The player displayed his quality for Chelsea last season in the sweeper role at the heart of Conte’s back three, replacing Luiz as the primary ball-player out of the back.

Chelsea not good enough for Zidane says Lauren

After a setting place as one of the most targeted managers in European football, unemployed Zinedine Zidane is high on the list of sought after managers to take the job at Chelsea if Maurizo Sarri is sacked.

The Blues has been linked with a move for the Frenchman, with Maurizio Sarri’s rein at Stamford Bridge under threat after a series of bad results.

Despite the fact that Chelsea
as a club is big enough to attract top ambitious coaches, French football expert Julien Laurens claims there is one reason which could put Zidane off.

In a session with ESPN, Laurens said: “I think we need to see it from his point of view in the sense that would this be a project that interests him?

“I think the idea of coaching one of the big clubs in the Premier League of course is appealing to him.

“There’s a few issues there, the language, and we talked about it before when he was linked with Manchester United as well.

“Zinedine Zidane is a manager who works a lot on man-management. They’re not all like this but he is very much like this.
“And the language, he doesn’t speak a word of English, I think he would see it as a problem to get his message across to the players.

“But also the way he man-manages all his players, all his dressing room to make everybody feel important, for example like he did in Madrid. That would be an issue.”

Chelsea Midfielder Will Leave Club For THREE Clubs

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will only consider leaving the West London giants for three clubs only.

French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) were keen on a summer transfer for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante at the start of this season only for the player to reject the big-money move in favour of staying at Stamford Bridge.

French media outlet Le 10 Sport have revealed the reason behind his decision.

It was said that Kante rejected the PSG transfer because he will only consider a transfer away from Chelsea for major European sides like Barcelona, Real Madrid and German champions Bayern Munich.

He was linked with PSG shortly after he helped France win the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia via a 4-2 win over fellow Europeans Croatia.

N’Golo Kante is happy to stay at Chelsea after putting pen to paper on a new contract until 2023.

The 27-year-old signed a contract extension at Stamford Bridge in December to make him the Blues’ highest paid player at £290,000 on a weekly basis.

N’Golo Kante joined Chelsea in a £32m deal in 2016 shortly after he played a big role in the unlikely Premier League title triumph for Leicester City.

The French midfielder won a second successive Premier League title in his first season as a Chelsea player under the guidance of former Blues boss Antonio Conte.

Real Madrid would be unable to sign Eden Hazard if this happens

The Los Blancos have been linked with moves to sign Chelsea talisman and Belgium international, Eden Hazard since the last summer transfer window but they have been unable to make it a reality with Chelsea standing as a stumbling block.

However, a new report has made it known that Real Madrid are in a race to sign Brazil star, Neymar Junior from PSG in the summer transfer window.

Paris Saint Germain signed Neymar Jnr from Barcelona in 2017 at £200 million making him the most expensive player in the world.

Howeverr, the Brazil star has been unable to adapt to PSG style of football and could be back to Spain in no time.

A report from DailyMail disclosed that the emergence of Kylian Mbappe as one of the best players in the world and pressure to adhere to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations could could also strengthen the chances of a deal being done.

And a potential deal would have implications for Chelsea in their efforts to keep hold of star man Eden Hazard.

The Blues have been trying to extend the Belgian’s contract, which is set to expire in June 2020.

However, their attempts have so far been unsuccessful due to the player’s interest in joining Madrid.

If Madrid do sign Neymar then they would be left without the funds to meet Chelsea’s valuation, ending the chances of Hazard departing for the Bernabeu.

FA Cup: Gianfranco Zola makes bold claim ahead of game vs Man Utd

The Fifth round of the FA Cup between Chelsea and Man Utd is scheduled to take place tomorrow night at Stamford Bridge.

Going by the latest report, the match is unique owing to the fact that there will not be room for a second leg, which means both sides must work towards winning it once and for all.

The Blues will head to the game tomorrow night having suffered a humiliating blow from Man City in the EPL but managed to regain their confidence by defeating Malmo in the UEL.

Man Utd, on the other hand, will hope to bounce back having suffered a defeat to Paris Saint Germain PSG in the UCL.

However, Chelsea assistant coach, Gianfranco Zola has made a bold claim ahead of the match tomorrow.

“Zola says Callum Hudson-Odoi is always on the edge of the team and is given chances when the time is right. Zola points out there are very few 18-year-olds as involved in a top team as Hudson-Odoi is. #CHEMUN

— Chelsea FC (@ChelseaFC) February 15, 2019

This statement means that the youngster could start against Man Utd tomorrow, also Ruben Loftus-Cheek is likely to make an appearance.

Is this the One problem stopping Zinedine Zidane from moving to Chelsea or Man Utd?

Is this the One problem stopping Zinedine Zidane from moving to Chelsea or Man Utd?

France international, Zinedine Zidane has been out of job since he unexpectedly resigned from Real Madrid after leading them to three victories in the UCL.

He has however been linked with moves to Man Utd where he is expected to be their permanent coach at the end of the season.

And recently he has been linked with a move to Chelsea where he is expected to replace Maurizio Sarri if things do not improve under the Italian.

However, sports pundit, Julien Laurens in a recent statement disclosed that Zidane inability to express himself in English language will be a big barrier for him.

“I think we need to see it from his point of view in the sense that would this be a project that interests him?” Laurens said on ESPN FC.

“The fact that he won’t like the lack of stability at Chelsea with managers coming in and coming out very regularly – two years for [Antonio] Conte, maybe even less for Sarri.

“That’s something he doesn’t like and enjoy, that kind of spirit.

“So there are a lot of things I am not sure he will be so keen on.

“However, Chelsea are a huge club and he will obviously be interested in a big club and the Premier League is a league that interests him very much.”

Why Andreas Christensen didn’t leave Chelsea in January

Denmark international, Andreas Christensen was one of the key players in the Blues squad under former coach, Antonio Conte but soon lost his place under Maurizio Sarri to David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger, who the Italian prefers to start in the center half.

Owing to the limited playing chances under Maurizio Sarri, the Dane was linked with a departure in the January transfer window, with Barcelona disclosed as his likely destination.

Can Alvaro Morata be like former Chelsea striker at Atletico Madrid?

Alvaro Morata didn’t score for Atletico Madrid yesterday but he was happy he was involved in a goal.

Morata after the match said the most important thing was winning the game.

The Spain international who struggled at Stamford Bridge was loaned out Atletico Madrid to replace his fellow countryman and former Chelsea striker, Diego Costa, who is currently on injury.

Unlike Alvaro Morata, Diego Costa happens to be the last best center forward Chelsea ever had and for now we can’t say if Higuain will be a record breaker.

Diego Costa left Stamford Bridge as a result of the fracas between himself and former Blues coach, Antonio Conte.

However, Alvaro Morata in a recent statement said he is working towards becoming like Diego Costa.

Morata added: “I have seen him very well and I am happy that he has recovered already, he is a great person, a friend and I wish him the best.

“The three of us have felt good, we have organised to have spaces and I think Diego Costa and Griezmann are from the best forwards in the world, it’s easy to adapt to them and as the last to arrive I have to adapt myself.”
